font progress

Working through the sacred grid, discovering letter forms hidden within the patterns. This project was inspired by the documentary Black Whole, which introduced the concepts of sacred geometry to me. I used the basic two-dimensional framework that inspired Nassim Haramein and the ancient artists he looked at to create a grid for myself to base my letter forms.

elephants!

For the past few weeks of my animation class, we have been focusing on elephants. Elephant bones, elephant muscles, elephant walks, elephant grabs, elephant pushes, elephants elephants elephants! I'm starting to feel like I'm in the Pink Elephants scene of Dumbo...elephants everywhere.

Focusing like this is really benefiting me, though. From having never drawn an elephant before, to now having a pretty good understanding of their anatomical structure and movements, now I have the freedom to start thinking of elephants as possible characters, and won't be afraid to move them through a scene.

time saver title

The great Time Wizard sits alone in his grand void, watching the sands of time trickle through the hourglass. But watching time pass becomes tiresome after several eternities, so to entertain himself, he creates the concepts of good and evil with his great Imagination.

First, he creates a hero. Courageous and good-hearted, he has the willpower to stop any foe in his path.

Then, he creates a challenge, a world full of powerful enemies that together form the ultimate gauntlet of bosses, The Bosslet.

Now the stage is set, Time is in danger, and the only one who can save it is... TIME SAVER

time saver! + demos!

"Time Saver" is back in the works!

Time Saver is a game concept I started working on years ago, in which you, the heroic hero fight through a gauntlet of bosses, better known as a Bosslet. The original concept was to fight your way through the great timeline of history, starting with the prehistoric era, traveling through ancient rome, and far into the future to fight Time itself.

Well, time got away from me and this project has become like an old tome of knowledge... forgotten, misunderstood, and soggy between some of the pages, but still holding a vast potential! With the basic concept like it is, the types of Bosslet a hero can engage are nearly boundless. Fighting through time? through a magical geometric world? the space marine army of the Muffin Men?

Mechanics of the game engine will be an ongoing development, while the storyline is explored in parallel. This is just the start!

Here are some of the .swfs of the game, old and new!
